NEXT-GENERATION NGO · SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
— and so will you. together
Shedo connects, equips, and champions women & youth across Iraq & KRI — one economic-intelligence and inclusion engine.
The two-motor model
Most organisations pick a lane — charity or consultancy. Shedo runs both engines at once, and each one makes the other faster.
Engine 01 — NGO
Powers community outreach and rights-based advocacy — a rights-based, intersectional approach to deep-rooted challenges.
Engine 02 — Social enterprise
Runs like a firm so the mission never has to beg: we sell market-grade services and reinvest the revenue into the NGO engine — a self-funding loop.
Both run on the same fuel — women's untapped potential.

FAQ
What Shedo is, where we work, and how the two engines actually run.
Shedo is a next-generation NGO and social enterprise connecting, equipping, and championing women and youth across Federal Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Registered in February 2025, Shedo runs on a two-motor model: an NGO engine for community and advocacy, and a social enterprise engine whose revenue funds the mission.
Across Federal Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), based in Erbil and Baghdad.
One vehicle, two engines. The NGO engine powers community outreach, advocacy, the Women, Peace and Security agenda, legal reform, and well-being. The social enterprise engine sells market-grade L&D, AI and digital-inclusion services, consulting, and open-data dashboards — and reinvests the revenue into the NGO engine, so the mission never has to beg.
Seven: the Social Enterprise Launchpad, the Founder/Co-Founder Lab, the Female Boardroom Accelerator, Career & Leadership Bootcamps, the Matchmaking Hub, the Policy-to-Impact Factory, and the SheAI Iraq Chapter.
Three: the Matchmaking Hub (an AI-powered talent and advisory exchange), the Social Enterprise Bootcamp, and the Women's A2F Barometer — Iraq's first open-data dashboard tracking access-to-finance credit decisions, launched April 2026.
Through its social enterprise engine. Shedo sells market-grade services — training, consulting, and data products — and reinvests that revenue into its NGO and community work, creating a self-funding loop.
Shedo was registered in February 2025 (Reg. #6310).
